SOLO-FRIENDLY
SOLO-FRIENDLY
Adventure Solos events are solo-friendly adventures. Solo-friendly means that you can attend an Adventure Solos event by yourself and you will be made to feel welcome. This solo-friendly ethos is core to all Adventure Solos events. Here are some things it's good to know, and how we seek to make Adventure Solos as solo-friendly as possible:
Guests book onto our adventure by themselves. This means that everyone is meeting for the first time and that all guests are keen to make new friends.
Around 10 days before an event, you will be invited to a Whatsapp group where you can start to get to know the other guests. It is also a great way to make any practical arrangements such as taxi sharing or lift sharing.
We almost always start Adventure Solos events with a meal together as a group. This is an excellent way to start to get to know the other guests in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
We understand that some of our guests will be more nervous than others about the event. It's normal to be nervous if you're trying new things. We recommend arriving in good time - that means you can meet the other friendly guests one by one as they arrive.
All Adventure Solos events are fully-hosted. That means a dedicated host from Adventure Solos will be around for the duration of the adventure to ensure everything is going smoothly and that everyone is having a good time. The host will also meet and greet you when you arrive and helping to introduce you to other guests.
