DESCRIPTION
This Kinder Scout circular is a classic Peak District walk.
Kinder Scout is a moorland plateau, with the highest point being 636m above sea level. We walk up onto Kinder Scout plateau from Hayfield Quarry, the start point for the Mass Trespass in 1932.
We enjoy good views of Kinder Reservoir and Edale Rocks on this circular route of approximately 8.5 miles (13.5km). This will take approximately 5.5 hours, plus around an hour for a drink and chat it the pub after.
We walk at a steady pace for this hike, but you should have a moderate level of fitness to allow you to complete the walk and ascent.
