by Adventure Solos

OVERVIEW

Day Hikes by Adventure Solos are a great way to get to know us if you're interested in our solo-friendly adventures. We set a fairly slow and steady pace for these walks, making them social and inclusive events. All walks are lead by an Adventure Solos host that is also a qualified Mountain Leader and first aider (usually Chris from Adventure Solos).

DESCRIPTION

This Kinder Scout circular is a classic Peak District walk. Kinder Scout is a moorland plateau, with the highest point being 636m above sea level. We walk up onto Kinder Scout plateau from Hayfield Quarry, the start point for the Mass Trespass in 1932. We enjoy good views of Kinder Reservoir and Edale Rocks on this circular route of approximately 8.5 miles (13.5km). This will take approximately 5.5 hours, plus around an hour for a drink and chat it the pub after.

We walk at a steady pace for this hike, but you should have a moderate level of fitness to allow you to complete the walk. The event starts and ends at Bowden Bridge Quarry car park, SK22 2LH.

Tickets are available here for £29.99 per person.
