OVERVIEW

The East Highland Way is an incredible and remote hiking route in Scotland.

This guided adventure runs over 7 days (6 nights). The East Highland Way starts where the West Highland Way ends; in Fort William in Scotland. It stretches 82 miles (132km) to the North East, finishing in the beautiful ski and mountain resort of Aviemore.

The East Highland Way is 14 miles shorter than the WHW, but it is by no means the little sibling. Instead, it offers the chance to step into the wilderness, get away from more well trodden routes and explore a wilder side of Scotland. This little-known route means no busy tourist trails, very few signposts, and the chance to enjoy remote wild camps with a heightened sense of achievement at the end. This is a fantastic 'must-do' hiking trail; get it on your 'to-do' list today!

Adventure Solos' guests almost exclusively book onto adventures by themselves, giving you a great opportunity to tackle the route whilst enjoying the camaraderie and friendships of your fellow adventurers.

Qualified Mountain Leaders. They are trained in first aid and will be there throughout the event.
Accommodation; 1 hotel night, 2 hostel nights and 3 nights wild camping.
Luggage service; we will collect your large bag at the start of each day and give it back to you in the evening. This means you can enjoy the walk without the burden of a heavy rucksack.
Transport; from Aviemore (end) back to Fort William (start).

WHERE IS IT?

We meet in Fort William at the start of The East Highland Way (also the end of the West Highland Way). We finish in Aviemore where we'll spend the final night. On the final day we transport you back to the start in Fort William.
